Dan Howey

Craft and Design for living

Handmade wooden furniture and homewares on an ever developing journey into material, technique, design, and practice. Celebrating materials and handcraft by using sustainable components and a combination of traditional and contemporary craft practices.

Objects surround our motions and are intrinsic to our day to day. Using notes from tradition, natural and built form, material characteristics, and function, I approach collections and pieces which highlight and celebrate our relationship with objects. Objects which should inspire, excite and harmonise our relationship with them.
